Welcome to ELC! We have been around in Kuching for well over thirty years and we are very encouraged that the second generation of students come from families who were among our first students. So many of the students who study at the English Language Centre do so because their parents used to study with us. I know parents care about the accuracy and intelligibility of their children’s spoken and written English. We promote the best English at the English Language Centre through our syllabus and our resources.

We use British textbooks, both in our English as a Second Language classes and our Oxford and Cambridge advanced classes which closely follow the British International School curriculum. 

Our students gain a strong command of English through the skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar. As our students  gain confidence in speaking and accuracy in English, their command of the language will give them the power to function academically and professionally in any English speaking environment.
